Direct Client Role : Jr.Sys Admin / Lab Support Engineer Duration : 6 months + Fort Collins, CO $45/hr all inclusive Description The IT Admin / Lab Support Engineer will provide expert, deep level support for the suite of Remote Support Technology products. This role is in the RDA (Remote Device Access) Development Team working on both the very successful RDA Classic product as well as our next generation call-home Domino product. The IT Admin / Lab Support Engineer must be able to interact with the Development Team, IT and project team members, capturing infrastructure requirements and work with Dev Ops and IT to commission and de-commission test and production environments to achieve project objectives. Responsibilities include: Documentation and update of environment infrastructure plans Partnering with Dev Ops and IT and other broader team members to commission environments Maintain Team Infrastructure Inventories (Physical, Virtual and IT Cloud) Audit and track current Infrastructure changes and provide input on future changes Adhere to IT processes for commissioning / updating environments in consultation to development teams. Participate in process improvements. Participate in team activities including team meetings and release deliverables. Participate in other activities as appropriate Qualifications / Experience: Bachelor's degree (CS or CIS preferred) or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 plus year's related experience or Master's degree and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience Excellent inventory management and issue tracking skills Knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows Operating systems types Knowledge of database types Knowledge of VMware & Clustering concepts Strong knowledge of IT terminology and technologies Knowledge of VPN technologies advantageous Knowledge of network protocols and communications Knowledge of Agile Framewaor advantageous Knowledge of ITIL advantageoos Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. Can independently track and drive change orders and IT requests and provide feedback and documentation.
