Some of the main responsibilities include working with the IT Manager, Research Manager, and Account Manager to determine technical support, IT solutions and lead the team in development with the focus on building and maintaining a web reporting site for our client. Client interaction and limited travel is also a key component of this position. •Technical expertise. Maintain a broad technical understanding of the team's project(s). The ability to communicate business ramifications of technical issues. Works with clients and team members by providing technical expertise. Needs a technical background and knows our business. •Create reliable estimates for a new project and other project-related work. Works with project staff to maintain project scope and resource estimates, Good PM skills •Directs/Coordinates the day to day activities of programming/technical staff. •Client Management. Works with client/project staff to set priorities (assists with Project Planning). Manage Resources; coordinate the work of a team: distribute assignments, plan future work, balance workload and deadlines. Project Manager coordinates work, Planning and Scheduling of resources and updates/ tracks resource availability & time – Set priorities •Creates/reviews system and programming/infrastructure designs - Code Review -Evaluate the work of team members. Design reviews, lesson learned meeting after major launches. •Ensures systems follow IT standards. Ensure work processes, including QMS procedures, are in place and followed •Involvement in recruiting new candidates •Assists in IT staff evaluations (MCAPS) •Outstanding problem solving skills, Problem Solver, Fire Fighter Solution oriented, able to evaluate situations and answer questions in a reasonable time. Process Improver •Good leadership skills Judgment and Decisiveness •Follow through on given tasks •Resilience •Good Communication skills Keeps management updated on the good and potential issues (no surprises) •Reward and recognize *Skill Set Qualifications* Developer Analyst Lead (new) - Primary focus (initially) on new development initiatives for a large hospitality client · Strong technical skills in .Net C#, SQL Server, MS Reporting Services, and MS Analysis services. · Software architecture · Technical team leadership skills · Excellent project management skills · Minimum 7-10 years of programming/project management experience *Strong Technical skills in the following: * · Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 programming · DTS · Stored procedures · SSIS · Reporting Services · Analysis Services · Microsoft .Net – console and web · Experience leading and coaching other developers · Excellent written & verbal communication skills · Database modeling · Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 database application development involving Transact-SQL, stored procedures, user-defined functions, and SQL 2000 DTS and SQL 2005 SSIS. · 1 to 3 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 Reporting Services and Analysis Services a plus. · 3 to 5 years general web site design/development experience · 1 to 3 years Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 or higher – console and web – experience · Minimum 3 to 5 years software and database systems architecture/design experience · Technical team leadership skills. Includes working with internal and external stakeholders to continually identify, quantify, prioritize, and schedule ongoing support and new implementations projects’ tasks.
