Must be local This is a Short Term Contract initially that now has the possibility of extending or going FTE Primary responsibilities include operating system installation and configuration, user access control and virtualization management. Assist in the day-to-day operations of a 24/7 high traffic web environment as well as assist and plan out new build-outs and initiatives Maintenance and configuration of servers and other computing equipment Programming and automation of system processes, deployments and infrastructure management Design, configure and report on server and systems monitoring, backups and utilization General scripting, automation and troubleshooting of systems and web applications Provide systems support to developers, testers and end-users Qualifications: 3+ years Linux systems administration experience Strong working knowledge of DNS, LDAP, DHCP and RHEL4+5 Demonstrate strong capability to develop in scripting languages (perl, python, shell, etc.) Experience supporting a high traffic consumer website in a 24/7 environment Ability to effectively explain, describe or convey ideas in individual or group situations Experience with BladeLogic Operations Manager (or similar product) preferred Experience supporting Java application servers a plus (WebLogic, Tomcat, OC4J) Any Experience with ITIL a plus Thanks & Regards, Tanvir Ahmed 201-255-0319 x 258 OR 299 Email: [email protected] E-mail: [email protected] * --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
