*5 + years experience as a Sr. Oracle DBA, working in a fast-paced team atmosphere managing enterprise-class database environments, with demonstrated knowledge of Oracle and enterp* *Job Description: * *Reporting to the Manager of Database Administration, this position is responsible for the daily operational duties of the Database Administration sub-team(s).* ** Manage the daily operational and support activities of the Oracle Database Administrator resources. * Manage assigned projects as required within the team structure. * Assign and manage resources assigned to Database Administration projects at any or all SDLC phases as necessary. * Provide timely and relevant reporting metrics around problem resolution, system availability, and performance. * Provide Tier 3 support for RDMS database platforms. * Act as a Tier 3 Technical Support resource assisting various Development staff, Remote Regional IT staff, Database Application Users and Helpdesk Analysts as required. Experience: Candidate must have at least 5-7 years experience working in a fast-paced team atmosphere managing enterprise-class database environments, with demonstrated knowledge of Oracle and enterprise-class servers and storage. Education & Skills: * College Degree or equivalent experience. * Oracle DBO, OCA, OCP, or OCM certifications desired. * Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE certifications desired. * Prefer experience in managing a mixed Oracle and SQL Server database environment.
