C# WPF DEVELOPER* *Location: Chicago, IL * *Duration: 6 Months* We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Developer, with enterprise application development skills, to help build and maintain mid-to-high complexity financial services applications build in .NET 3.5, utilizing C# and WPF. As part of a small team, the developer will work with the Lead Architect and Product Manager to design/implement new features and functionality across many applications. *Responsibilities: * Work as a senior member of a small development team, designing new solutions and features for .NET WPF applications. Review application and feature requirements, design and engineer solutions utilizing CASE tools, develop the code and the unit tests, and coordinate with the team on building and deploying the changes. Troubleshoot and debug feature issues including root cause analysis. Assist in the design review of applications utilizing tools like NDepend and FxCop. Help with QA tasks including test definition, creation, and data preparation. *Requirements: * BS/MS or equivalent enterprise work experience 5+ years of C#/.NET enterprise application development experience 2+ years experience utilizing CASE tools for software engineering 1+ years of WPF enterprise application development experience Proficient in creating .NET applications utilizing architectural patterns and practices and OOD/OOP. Proficient in either multi-threaded, complex client-side applications, or fault-tolerant, scalable, and distributed back-end services. Must be able to operate independently, translate loose requirements into deliverable tasks, and complete projects on-time with tight deadlines Demonstrated ability to debug complex, multi-tier, distributed applications. Experience with SQL and database development highly desired. Experience with ClearCase or other large source control system desired.
