*Required Skils:* Required Skills (Must have), Necessary industry experience and associated number of years of experience: Minimum 5-8 years of application development experience with Java on Unix Platforms. Experience in some of the following technologies: Java, XMPP, XML, MySQL, dom4j, HTML, JavaScript, JSP Experience working on Instant Messaging systems and applications in corporate environment Experience developing XMPP components or plug-ins for Openfire (or similar instant messaging server) Familiar with open source community involvement Good understanding of Service Oriented Architecture Hands on experience with designing scalability solutions and performance improvements (concurrency) Experience with deployment and support of large-scale production quality applications Experience with monitoring/troubleshooting tools such as Perfmon & Event alerting Experience in writing Unit test cases.
