*MUST HAVES:* Business Objects Administration experience on XI3 Business Objects Administration experience in a Linux/Unix environment Experience with SAP, SharePoint, and LDAP integration a huge plus Universe, Report, Dashboard development experience a huge plus *Description of Work:* Responsible for maintenance of Business Objects environments including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, monitoring and backups. Business Objects Admin/Architecture experience on XI3 is a must. Provide Business Objects subject matter expertise. Plan and perform environment consolidation/reduction/optimization. Experience performing and maintaining integration with SAP, SharePoint, Identity Management, and other applications. Provide 24x7 platform support. Complete service requests and problem cases. Manage and track Business Objects and associated tool license usage, provide input for long range licensing plans and optimization. Responsible for activities such as conceptual design, detail technical specifications and technical documentation. Partner with Enterprise Architecture and application teams to design Business Objects solutions. Participates in the design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of the solution Assists in estimating tasks and the preparation of project plans Experience with installations and maintenance in a Linux/Unix environment. Recommends methods for improved work processes, detailing the process's strengths and answering clients' questions to gain group consensus. Tracks internal trends and suggests process improvements based on observations. Measures performance of the newly implemented solutions against desired results and recommends basic improvements; demonstrates a strong sense of ownership for outcomes. Questions current methods, while evaluating broad implications, to develop practical improvements.
