Additionally, there is some potential for contract to hire opportunity in the longer term. Position Location - Candidate's primary work location will be the Minnetonka client location, Candidates may be required to travel to other local client facilities *Qualified Candidates* - Must have a minimum three years' experience within a SAP BI/BW environment (Preference in SAP BI 7.0) and experience with the BO tool set (Webi, BEX, Xcelsius etc) Candidates should have strong BA related experience in analyzing business requirements, translating requirements to functional specifications (including data flows and high-level source to target data mappings), work with architects to translate requirements to technical specs, testing and coordination of changes though the development and implantation cycle. Help to estimate resource requirements and create plans, timelines, and milestones, for enhancement work. *Additional Qualifications* - Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner *Candidate Availability* - Candidates Should be available for immediate consideration and potential project start *Interview Process -* Will include an initial 30 minute phone interview with a client interviewing manager, next steps to include 60 min on-site interview with client hiring manager and other team members. Interview Schedule - First round interviews expected to begin as soon as qualified candidates are presented, second round interviews to begin week immediately after *Role Description:* Analyzes business and technical processes, documents business requirements, defines changes to business processes and assists in modifying them, configures, tests and implements enterprise-wide business systems. Interviews business partners to define detailed business requirements. Maps current processes to the desired state and identifies gaps, such as program functions, output requirements, input requirements and sources, data conversion strategies, and system techniques and controls. Where appropriate, translates business requirements to functional specifications and technical requirements. Coordinates with business and technology teams to provision and test business systems to ensure they meet requirements. *Job Duties: Collect and Document Requirements:* - Defines business needs by analyzing and documenting business processes; includes research, planning, writing user cases and project overviews, plus any supporting documentation - Gather requirements from customers to identify desired support needs. - Prepare project and system related documentation consistent with standards and procedures outlined in the applicable development methodologies. *Assist in Defining Solutions:* - Maintain and document the logical and physical data models including data flow diagrams. - Develop as-is and to-be business process flows and data models required by the department methodology for new system development or for process redesign. *Serve as Interface between Business and Technical Teams:* - Facilitate meetings in the business area to gather and review business requirements and to translate requirements to technical teams. - Understand the various business entities and cross divisional relationships. - Serve as a liaison between IS and the supported business areas. - Communicate effectively with management to enhance their understanding of the opportunities and limitations of information systems. *Coordinate Execution of Initiatives:* - Coordinate support enhancements and small IT initiatives - Develop Test Plans, Cases, and Scripts and perform and coordinate Testing - Develop and deliver end user training *Other Duties:* - Keep informed of trends and new developments in technology to better advise management of means to accomplish business and information systems goals. - Provide updates and communication to customers, management and IT; escalate issues as appropriate. *Qualifications:* - Minimum three years with SAP BW environment and experience with the BO tool set (Webi, Xcelsius etc) Preference in SAP BI 7.0 or at least 5 years of demonstrated experience with similar toolsets. - Ability to travel between multiple sites within the Twin Cities (up to 25% of time). - Good level of skills with MS office suite - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, and Mathematics, Engineering, Business or area of functional responsibility preferred, or equivalent 5 years of industry work experience - 3 years of industry experience in a technical profession - Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model, preferred - Ability to work in a highly matrix and geographically diverse business model - Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast paced changing environment -- multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner. - Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate Thanks, *Pavan Gurram* *Siltek Corporation * *people. technology. innovation* 300 Brickstone Square Suite 201 Andover, MA 01810 (978) 475-3500 Direct (978) 623-7201 Fax *[email protected] <[email protected]>* www.siltekcorp.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
