*Position: System Center Administrator*
*Location**: Columbus, OH *
*Duration**: 6+ months*
*Job Description:*
· Operate automation solutions based on user requirements then
create SCORCH Runbook automation which integrates with System Center
· Meet with multiple Teams to architect and Operate automation
solutions utilizing the System Center 2012 Suite.
· The ability to analyze data related to operational monitoring
issues and deficiencies and Operate custom workflow solutions to resolve
these issues within the System Center Suite
· Operate and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and
performance levels are achieved
· Provide expert technical direction to Sr. System, System,
Associate Operates, Operations and contractors
· Perform root cause analysis for solutions automations and service
interruption recovery; create preventative measures on complex projects
· Interface with Business Stakeholders on all applicable projects.
Update Operator on all escalated issues
· Operating automation solutions for Internet standards-based (e.g.
DNS, TCP/IP, ARP, TCP sockets) and Windows-based (Active Directory, WMI,
NetBIOS, CIFS/SMB) networks with a sound understanding of Red Hat
Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows
· Working with Operating and Operations Teams for Solutions
Automation operating a network, systems, or event operate system such as
IBM Netcool, Microsoft System Center Operations Operator, HP Open View
Network Node Operator, HP Service Operat0r or Remedy Action Request System
in a large environment with thousands of Operated or monitored agents or
nodes
*Skills Required:*
· System Center Orchestrator Operations/Administration (Basic)
· System Center Operations Manager Administration(Basic)
· Windows OS (Intermediate)
· SQL Server Database Development (Basic)
· Data Analysis Capabilities (Basic)
· ITL Understanding Proficiencies (Basic)
· Experience working in an Enterprise Systems Environment
· PowerShell (Basic)
· ADO .Net (Basic)
· ASP, HTML5 or C# coding experience (Intermediate)
· Scripting experience Python, Perl, JavaScript, bash (Intermediate)
· Unix & Linux OS (Intermediate)
· Display drive and have the ability to learn new tools
· System Center Configuration Manager Operations/Administration a
Plus
· SCCM Administration
· SCOM Administration
· SCCM OSD/MDT Design
· Knowledge of Storage Concepts
· ESX/VM Environment Knowledge
