This Project Manager will manage a critical Oracle SOA implementation project which will install, configure, and test clustered Weblogic server and OSB/SOA managed servers in a high availability environment for development, QA and production. The SOA PM will report to the Director of the IT Project Management Office (ITPMO). This position will require working closely with internal customers, application support, infrastructure operations, and interfacing with internal teams within the client organization. *Responsibilities:* - Manage day-to-day operations of the project. - Develop and execute test plans and communication plans which includes meetings and status updates. - Responsible for change and scope management of project. - Escalate scheduling conflicts and work with IT PMO/sponsor for resolution. - Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored in an appropriate manner. - Ensure that all project implementation related issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner. - Perform or manage the effective hand-off of the completed project to the appropriate internal group (production turnover and project closeout). *Requirements:* - 3 to 5 years of IT Project management experience - Good knowledge of SOA, must have worked in at least 2 to 3 SOA or similar implementation projects - Prefer 2 to 3 years’ experience with SOA Suite 10g projects (and at least 1 year with 11g) - PM should have handled at least one Oracle SOA or similar implementation (specific to enabling file transfers) - Knowledge of Oracle fusion middleware is preferred - SOA or similar Governance & Best Practices - for SOAP/REST or similar Web Service development is preferred - Knowledge of Security, Logging, Auditing, Policy Management and Performance Monitoring and KPI for end-to-end process execution - Oracle SOA Suite 11g, Oracle Service Bus , Weblogic knowledge is preferred - Knowledge of batched file transfer processes between client systems and business partner systems all 3rd Party software - Experience managing project issues to resolution - Experience in maintaining project documentation standards and practices (including requirements, tech architecture, test plans and test results, deployment plans) - Knowledge of network firewall rules/controls is preferred - Experience coordinating release management for software releases/upgrades internally - Experience developing project and action plans for the implementation and communication to cross functional team - Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
