*Title:* Project Manager *Location:* Whippany NJ *Interview Type : In Person Only* Years of Relevant Experience: More than 20 years Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study or advanced degree - Develop executive management presentations and reports - Engage in ongoing process improvement - Detailed functional and process knowledge of their discipline(s) - Utilize deep modeling, design, and assembly skills - Builds system's capability which reflects the highest state of technical sophistication consistent with the organization's needs and budget - Recommends insights that contribute to overall organization's strategic management - Consults with management to determine information requirements of management, scientists, or engineers, determine boundaries and priorities of new projects, and discuss system capacity and equipment acquisitions - Reviews project feasibility studies and makes recommendations - Provides independant verification and validation - May assign and schedule work, or delegate work to subordinate managers and surpervisors, and review work performed - May present prepare proposals and solicit sale of systems analysis, programming, and computer services to outside firms or agencies - Mentor and coach managers, peers, and subordinates - Provide knowledge transfer to managers, peers, and subordinates - In addition the following is required by the Office of Insurance Prosecutor: - Pursuant to its strategic objective of identifying and addressing larger and potentially more complex cases of insurance fraud, including those involving health insurance, the OIFP has identified the need to develop a robust data-mining and analytics capability (1) for its own use and (2) that might also be used by other state agencies with related missions-an initial step in which is to evaluate the products and services offered by commercial vendors of such technologies. - Gain a thorough understanding of (1) the OIFP's operations, staffing, existing detection and investigation functions and related technological resources and skills; (2) the jurisdictions and functions of other state agencies potentially in need of OIFP-compatible data-mining and analysis technology, and (3) the nature, applications and potential users of such technology within OIFP and related state agencies.
