Scottsdale, Arizona System Engineer in Scottsdale Arizona ,. This position will be responsible for working within MS Active Directory, GPO creation, VMware, SCCM,SCOM and scripting in a Windows enterprise environment. The System Engineer will install, configure and maintain Brookfield’s servers built on the Microsoft Windows and Linux platform hosted in a VMWare environment. The System Engineer will utilize MS SCCM, MS SCOM and other server management tools to support and maintain the environment. Provide reports and metrics of various KPI for the server infrastructure which includes security compliance and capacity management. Education and Experience: • BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or 7+ equivalent work experiences. • Working experience with Infrastructure management tools like MS SCOM, MS SCCM, and MS WSUS. • Microsoft MCSE (Server Infrastructure) certification with minimum 3+ years of experience or 5+ equivalent work experiences in Windows Server 20xx including 2008\2012 AD services. • Strong experience installing and supporting Windows Servers 2003, 2008, 2012 • Experience installing and supporting Linux server • Experience working in a VMWare Infrastructure. • Extensive experience deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting technologies built on the Microsoft Windows stack – IIS 6, 7+, MS .Net • Experience working with Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS) • Experience implementing and administrating common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH, SMTP. • A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking. • Possess an understanding of SDLC and Change Management Process. • Experience using defect tracking tools to document and process documentation, hardware and software defects. • Advanced skills creating PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work with minimal supervision. • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic working environment.
