Could you clarify a little bit more what's your concern?

I took a look at the LGPL text, and the license itself (i.e., the text in the 
COPYING file) doesn't seem to dictate one way or another. These are the two 
paragraphs I'm basing my interpretation on:

"0. This License Agreement applies to any software library or other program 
which contains a notice placed by the copyright holder or other authorized 
party 
saying it may be distributed under the terms of this Lesser General Public 
License (also called "this License"). Each licensee is addressed as "you". "

(From term 13:)
"Each version is given a distinguishing version number. If the Library 
specifies 
a version number of this License which applies to it and "any later version", 
you have the option of following the terms and conditions either of that 
version 
or of any later version published by the Free Software Foundation. If the 
Library does not specify a license version number, you may choose any version 
ever published by the Free Software Foundation."

So it seems to imply that what controls the license version and that other 
versions are allowed is the copyright header in each source file; I checked and 
all sources seem to say "no later version", so unless I'm misinterpreting the 
LGPL text, I don't think there's an issue.

Also, this is the only version of the LGPL available at the GNU website - I 
don't see a different version with the "no later version" clause replacing the 
"any later version" wording above, so that case seems to be implied by term 13.
