It's been a long time since I played with vmblock (and Dmitry, who has worked with it recently, is OOTO this week), so I can't help much. But just to make sure, is the vmblock filesystem mounted anywhere? (i.e., do you see something like "none on /proc/fs/vmblock/mountPoint type vmblock (rw)" on the output of mount?) I think someone was saying here previously that vmware-user doesn't mount vmblock automatically, so if the init scripts are not doing it, that might be the problem. I've asked the developer who works on DnD to take a look at the status of DnD in open-vm-tools when he has a chance, but we've been sort of busy working on upcoming internal milestones, so I think that's currently in his backburner. -- - Marcelo ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensing option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects _______________________________________________ open-vm-tools-devel mailing list open-vm-tools-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/open-vm-tools-devel
