I thought I'd give the OSP packages a try first, because they will
yield a cleaner system.
Although Ubuntu 10.04 LTS is supported, the OSP packages do not work,
because of the recently upgraded kernel:

Have just tried the 'official' tar installed, and that works fine,
i.e. no problems making snapshots etc.
I have filed a bug report for the Ubuntu tools:

Thanks.
