VS2008 will have some issues building the kdfs branch. I have not back ported the changes from openafs-devel-1_5_x to support VS2008 to the kdfs branch. VS2005 is available with an MSDN subscription. What is your motivation in building the IFS client at this time? There are still several items (see openafs RT) that need to be addressed before the client can be considered stable for use on production systems. When I believe it is safe to do so a set of installers will be produced and the KDFS support will be integrated into an up to date branch. The KDFS branch doesn't contain any of the fixes and improvements to OpenAFS since the branch was forked from the head almost two years ago. Jeffrey Altman
