Hello...

I am in the middle of trying to get the latest version of OpenAFS to
compile on Solaris 9 using
gcc. I noticed that it wants to default to Sun's compiler (/opt/SUNWspro).
I looked in the archives
about this and found only a few messages about it, but does anyone have a
Makefile for
Solaris 9 that they wouldn't mind showing me that gets OpenAFS to compile
okay with gcc?
I have tried doing some hacking of the Makefile but I'm not having a lot of
luck. The other
question is should I even be trying to do this? Assuming I can get it to
compile, I'm wondering
how reliable it will be with a hacked Makefile. Wondering if we should
cough up the $$$ to
 buy a copy of Sun's C compiler.

 Thanks for the help.
