Hi Robbie, You can log in, so I assume your server is running.
Make sure your server's firewall rules pass all AFS tokens. (you need udp 7000-7008, tcp 88). One of the most pernicious problems I've sem on XP boxes happens when the WinXP network name is too long. Check Start->My Computer->Properties->Network Indentification->Change Network Name. You name must be less than 11 characters, or AFS will fail when it tries to map a network drive. Silly, but true. If that doesn't work, please send the complete errror message to the list. --Noel ----- Original Message ----- From: "Robbie Foust" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, November 22, 2003 3:12 PM Subject: [OpenAFS] AFS problem on XP > Hi, > > I just subscribed to this list so I apologize if this has already been > discussed.
