Exactly how are PAGs broken? And by this I mean what is the behavior of a PAG under the 2.6 kernel that deviates from how it behaves under the 2.4 kernel -- I'm aware of the sordid history of why PAGs are broken -- I'm more interested in if the broken PAG behavior could be 'good enough' to engineer around, or if it is fully busted?

Previous posts on this list have said "it works other than PAGs" (which,
for desktop use, is likely fine), but I don't know what version of the
code this was talking about. I'd also be interested in knowing.

Just curious...do we know approximately when OpenAFS (stable) will be
released for the 2.6 kernel? I'm considering moving to FC2 sometime soon,
but can't unless I have stable AFS capability.
