Quoting Ron Croonenberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Ok,
I tried the other one you gave me that works. I have the following
rpm's :
openafs-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-client-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-compat-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-debuginfo-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-devel-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-kernel-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-kernel-source-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-kpasswd-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
openafs-server-1.2.13-rh9.0.1.i386.rpm
Uh, why do you have 1.2.13? I'm trying to help you build 1.4.0rc5..
You keep
confusing me by bringing up 1.2.13. Please stop bringing 1.2.13 into this
conversation.
I had an rpm build error :
Checking for unpackaged file(s): /usr/lib/rpm/check-files
/var/tmp/openafs-1.4.0rc5-root
error: Installed (but unpackaged) file(s) found:
/usr/sbin/kdump-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl_afs_ssi_9smp
Hmm.. Okay.. I see why this is happening. It's a bug in the SPEC
file. I have
this:
# not supported on Linux or duplicated
for f in kdump kdump-%{kernvers} kdb rmtsysd kpwvalid ; do
rm -f $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_sbindir}/$f
done
I think I should just pull this out and run:
rm -f $RPM_BUILD_ROOT%{_sbindir}/kdump*
-derek
