OpenAFS provides a client initiated crypt mode that uses an embarrassing
weak encryption method.   This will be addressed in OpenAFS 2.0 with the
addition of the RXGK security class.

It is worth noting that the primary selling point of NFSv4 is that
the client will be built into every Unix/Linux based operating system.
However, you still won't have a client for Microsoft Windows.  OpenAFS
on the other hand does have a client for Windows and has one today not
some unspecified date in the future.
