I'm going through the Solaris-related AFS client code right now and cleaning it up a good bit. Something that would really help is if support for Solaris versions older than 2.6 (ie: 2.0 - 2.5.1) could be cut out, this really reducing the #ifdef mess.

Obviously, if this were to happen, it would be done in the OpenAFS 1.5 development branch only.

The basic question is: Is there any opposition to doing this?

I think at this point 2 people have asked about pre 2.6 recently, one 2.4 and one 2.5.1, and they can use old versions. Is anyone else?
