From what I hear from our windows guys, most apps don't. I'd guestimate
at 95%.
Some of those apps might work with customized wrapper scripts, but for
the most part not.
Add to that that most apps don't deal well when run as a normal
(non-admin) user.
In general, the apps that tend to be better-behaved in these two areas
are those that started out in Unix and were later ported to windows.
To add to your list, synergy ( http://synergy2.sf.net ) works fine out
of my afs home directory.
Sincerely,
Jason Edgecombe

Hi!
Has anyone started a list (in a wiki or for only his own usage) of
software for windows (workstations) which runs out of OpenAFS filespace?
E.G. mplayer or media player classic should do without any problems.
But are there more?
MfG,
Lars Schimmer
