"generally urged" where?  I see a brief mention in the admin guide that
"performance will be better" will smaller sets.

In general, where do i find ZFS tuning & configuration suggestions
like this?  I follow the zfs-discuss list but don't read everything
religiously, and don't see any faqs.

This is offtopic here but i'm about to bring up a new netflow data
repository and am planning on using ZFS.
