Hi all,AFAIK the loopback adapter needs to be reinstalled after the cloning procedure. I think there is a way to have unattended (re) installation of it.

Hmm. It's installed, but the client isn't finding it. In fact, the popdown list of adapters in "bindings" is empty. I intend to upgrade to 1.5.21, but wanted to try the same version. I'm willing to believe I missed something but I don't see anything that looks relevant in the1.5.20 changelog. didn't see this in the docs or mailing list anywhere; did see some mention of the hosts file entry on the list. The Release Notes mention the need to not clone your AFSCache file (which i'm not sure is happening correctly as part of the clone process; is this related?). I got another freshly cloned machine and stopped afs service, deleted the afscache file, and started afs service; this didn't changethis behavior. Suggestions? aside: are there any other gotchas w/r/t system imaging? tnx danno -- Dan Pritts, System Administrator Internet2 office: +1-734-352-4953 | mobile: +1-734-834-7224 Internet2 Workshops: More fun than summer school http://www.internet2.edu/workshops _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-infodanno -- Dan Pritts, System Administrator Internet2 office: +1-734-352-4953 | mobile: +1-734-834-7224 Internet2 Workshops: More fun than summer school http://www.internet2.edu/workshops _______________________________________________ OpenAFS-info mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openafs.org/mailman/listinfo/openafs-info
