Well, this is eay to check. Just run fs uuid from each system and compare the UUIDs.

UUIDs are not the issue here.  explorer.exe is not opening the file to
execute.  That has nothing to do with the UUID.

For giggles and future reference, I just created two new VMs from my image and have confirmed
that they do get a unique SID and UUID.
