We turned off weekly restarts at umich.edu at least before I got here three years ago. The only times we do cell-wide restarts are before the start of major semesters (just so we know every machine would restart if any of them had an issue) and when it's easier to do a at-once restart to do upgrades than it would be to do rolling upgrades. -- Thomas L.
