There are two projects in progress that provide replacement Rx Security
Classes.

 * rxk5 - a Kerberos v5 only solution

 * rxgk - a GSS-API solution supporting Kerberos v5, X.509 and SCRAM

Neither of these Security Classes are in an OpenAFS release series.
You can read descriptions of each plus see when they are planned to be
incorporated into an OpenAFS release on the OpenAFS Road Map page.

The most recent talk on rxgk was given at the 2010 AFS and Kerberos
Workshop.

The most recent talk on rxk5 was given at the 2009 European AFS Conference.
