I've never used AFS before, but have been asked to see if I can virtualize the AFS client using VMware ThinApp.
I can see using the AFS Client running in a Virtual Desktop such as VMware View or Citrix XenDesktop, but virtualized as an application? Does anyone know if the AFS Client is implemented as a Kernel or User mode driver? As well, has anyone experience virtualizing the AFS Client using either VMware ThinApp or Microsoft App-V?
