If you are still using OpenAFS 1.6.x on Windows and are reliably able to
reproduce the condition where connectivity with \\AFS is lost until the
system is rebooted, I am in search of volunteers to test a hot fix
candidate. If testing is successful, Microsoft will publish a hot fix
that permits the SMB redirector to reliably work with the OpenAFS SMB
server.

Requirements:

 * Must be running either Windows 7 or Windows 7 SP1 (X86 or X64)

 * Must be able to reliably reproduce the loss of connectivity

 * Must be able to run your system in test signing mode. This mode disables
   the checks to ensure that Microsoft Windows binaries are digitally signed
   by the official Microsoft Windows certificate chain.

 * Must be able to install Microsoft Network Monitor 3.4

 * Must be willing to collect runtime data for sharing with Your File System
   and Microsoft staff.

If you meet these criteria, and wish to assist with testing, please send me
private e-mail. Do not reply to the mailing list.

Thank you.
