[OpenAFS] Adobe Reader X and OpenAFS 1.7.15

We are running OpenAFS 1.7.15 on Windows 7 SP1 64-bit machines.

multiple users had a somewhat strange experience with Adobe Reader X and OpenAFS 1.7.15. They opened a PDF downloaded from a webserver and wanted to save it under a new name on a afs share (network drive letter mapping). From Adobe Reader X perspective this works fine so the user believes, that everything worked as expected. Unfortunately when checking the folder on the afs share the file is not there. As we had this problem at multiple machines with different users I would like to know wether someone has experienced something similar.
