Dear Igor, unfortunately, I'm not getting even that far. Cmake fails when trying to detect the compiler, before it even starts compiling Openbabel, apparently because the required file /C/msys/1.0/home/imseg/openbabel-2.3.0/CMakeFiles/CMakeTmp/testCCompiler.c is not there.
Maybe it has something to do with my file layout? I have MinGW installed parallel to msys, not as a msys subtree. I'm using cmake 2.8 and have openbabel extracted under my /home directory.
