We have nightly testing through CMake / CDash: http://my.cdash.org/index.php?project=Open+Babel&display=project Now this currently happens for several platforms, including Mac, and Linux. If someone would like to set up a static build, we can definitely ensure consistent testing. The problem with "release candidates" is that we've done them in the past and they simply do not get testing. This is the exact benefit of the dashboard. If I break Chris's Windows build, it shows up (and vice versa). So I'll make this for the record -- if you want us to care about a particular platform or build type, put something behind that and offer to run nightly builds.
