Hi Geoff, I was applying a patch from Roger, when I noticed that an old PDB CONECT patch did not make it into the current codebase. I can't figure out how/why.
The code was in OB 2.2.x but seemed not to make it into 2.3.x. I'm wondering if there's more that didn't make it also. Looking at https://github.com/openbabel/openbabel/commits/openbabel-2-2-x/src/formats/pdbformat.cpp it's 77e0af8ce3d97a5040e8a5016c998ec7797d93da and c08db88ea593d0a07bcae5da52588e1a4475421c. The current development code certainly doesn't have the patch: obabel -:S=O -opdb and obabel -:SO -pdb give the same CONECT records.
