Aloha All,

So this is a bit unusual (at least for me...). I did a new install of
Jetty/OpenBD on Win XP SP3. I am running through my application
looking for bugs after moving from BlueDragon 7 FREE and IIS 6.0.

I cannot CFFILE delete or rename...I cannot CFFILE WRITE if the file
already exists on the server. So I think a permissions issue. When I
use IIS, and I also tried with the built in web server from New
Atlanta, there is no problem deleting files. Only the jetty/OpenBD.
I start jetty with a bat file that contains java -jar start.jar.

Is it possible that the way I start Jetty limits the programs ability
to alter files in the Windows operating system?

I have done the tests on the same machine with different ports, so
localhost:8080 runs BlueDragon Free and Built in webserver. localhost:
80 runs Jetty/OpenBD. They point to the same code base and same
datasource (SQL Server 2005 Express). The Jetty one will not delete/
rename/overwrite a file, while the original will.

I thought Jetty might be caching some files, and couldn't see in the
configuration how to change this, but I think more likely that Jetty
is unable to alter files based on the OS/user?

I am logged in as the Administrator on the server.

Any help is always appreciated,

Thanks,

Rob
