Thanks for the reply. I guess my gut feeling was the same. Looking at  
it from the CFML programmer perspective I agree with your comments and  
would prefer the root context approach as well. Looking at it from the  
hoster perspective their I'd like to use web standards as much as  
possible. So that is why I was wondering which method would be most  
preferable. Now to see if I can provide both as you mentioned.
