That doesn't  make much sense..  The problem is that fb  intercepts ALL 
requests to root..  Thus the captcha engine isn't  called at all (missing 
template)..   It would be nice if it worked like cfchart where I could stash it 
on disk..  Otherwise, I will prob have to run in a separate context.

Try just adding the variables that are in the Application.cfc for 
CFCaptcha into your main fusebox Application.cfc. Does that work for you?
