Good morning, I'm sorry if my post gave anyone the impression of snarkishness. As I inferred, I have great respect for the team and their time. I consider your comments valuable, and not an attack. I lament that my humor missed the mark.
I have not filed a ticket because it's possible that the the web services behave this way by design. After all, they are fast and are not malfunctioning per se. They are merely working in a way that's different from the way ColdFusion and Flex expect them to. My unrequited effort has been in finding out why this is so. Some confirmation - that this is a bug or intended feature - would help determine the next action, if any. Alan K.
