Hey Matt, Thanks for the quick response!
I totally hear you on the "just don't complain and not clarify" front....I have smacked myself accordingly ;-) It was really just frustration because I couldn't find something that plainly said "CFAJAXPROXY exists in OpenBD and here is the usage (or the usage is identical to CF 8)". I took a look at Railio Express as an alternative to Open BD (alternative in that it can be deployed anywhere without an install). Neither it's stable build or current build seem to have CFAJAXPROXY implemented (I'm guessing the express version is lacking some functionality as the full-blown version states CFAJAXPROXY is in place). In general I got the feeling that the express version was just a taster to try and hook you and pay up for the Enterprise non- free option (or I completely missed something). That sure doesn't solve the perceived cost barrier CF has always suffered from!! Anyways....I'll stick with OpenBD and use AjaxCFC for now. Thanks again Matt Cheers --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en official site @ http://www.openbluedragon.org/ !! save a network - trim replies before posting !! -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
