Thanks - got it working. Copying the entire WEB-INF folder (not just the web.xml file) and modifying a couple of paths in web.xml seemed to do the trick.
So am I correct in concluding that the concept of a 'virtual directory mapping' doesn't really exist in this context, since I had to copy over binaries? It's not really virtual in this case, is it -- since the new context requires its own set of binaries and whatnot. Works, though -- that's what matters. Cheers.
