One of the reasons why i was not a huge fan of CFSCRIPT and the current 
'fashion' to code everything in script.   But you know what, i don't 
care anymore.  If that is what people want to do, then who are we to 
stop them!

There is more to CFML than just the syntax of the language.   CFML for 
me is a platform.   It offers far more to me as a web developer than 
simply tags and functions.

absolutely, since Day#0.   And if you are running BlueDragon.NET you can 
call deep down into the .NET platform without going through any 
SOAP/WebServices layer.


There is a lot of interest in Javascript, and if we can bring more 
people to the CFML community that wouldn't have otherwise come over then 
that is wonderful.   It helps everyone.
