just my 5c where are the differents between javascript and cfscript in the syntax? with differents i mean things that work not the same way but exist in both languages. there are many things missing in cfscript, but why not extending cfscript with this features?
from my point of view, cfscript and javascript are both ecma script dialects and the differents between this lanuages are to small to make 2 different implementations. it makes a mutch more sense for supporting groovy or php syntax. /mic Alan Williamson schrieb: > Happy ThanksGiving - trust those that are taking the time off are > having a good time. > > Anyone following my blog, will know that I've been working on a very > exciting addition to the OpenBD family, and that is the ability to > compose pure Javascript applications and run them on the server side. > > But not just run Javascript, but also interact with the CFML > platform.
