My first thought - honestly - is "why the openbd group?"
There's not a whole lot of us, and this seems like a discussion of general design that rises above our common CFML interest here. There's got to be some kind of group - ya know, like a geek version of Shark Tank - that would love all this good stuff, perhaps actually provide a few tidbits of greater value than I ever could.

My second thoughts; is this functionally the same as the other guys? Does it make money the same way as the other guys? Do any of the other guys have U.S. IP rights on the way theirs works?

See? That has nothing to do with OpenBD and is probably dumb of me to ask, which proves my first thought.
