Just to echo what Nitai's saying, in my experience you're going to be much
better off just using jquery directly. It's really not any more complicated
than using the tags in CF 8, and when I used a bunch of these tags briefly
on a project right after CF 8 came out I found them to be horrendously
inefficient.

If you have an example of what you're doing in CF 8 that we can see online
or can share your code we can point you in the right direction.
