bit more info... this url http://www.openbluedragon.org/manual/?/engine_logfiles told me that the log files should be here normally: /WEB-INF/bluedragon/work/
The only thing in the web-inf directory on my machine was web.xml I copied the files & directories from C:\openbd\bluedragon\work (current location of rte logs) to C:\openbd\tomcat\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\bluedragon\work and then admin console can see the copied rtelogs I then copied the files from C:\openbd\logs (location of bluedragon.log and directories that contains the other log files as described in url above) and the admin console can see those as well. So... in short, the admin console can now see some log files correctly but they are only copies. I have searched through files looking for likely ways of setting either where the admin console looks or the engine places the files but it is beyond me at the moment. Hope this helps.
