As alluded to yesterday, we've got a number of announcements to make today.

We've relaunched the OpenBD web site with a new look and also a new domain.

Kudos and thanks to Jonathan Salisbury for being the gentlemen and
spotting that domain and donating it to the greater cause. We all
appreciate it.
---[Google App Engine] ---------------
The code merge of the Google App Engine branch has now been completed,
thus putting us into official bug-fix/feature mode with this. Any core
language features/functions will be automatically reflected in the
nightly builds in both the standard and GAE builds.
---[Plugins] ---------------
The official plugins are now part of the nightly build and will always
be built against the latest release.
---[OpenBD Desktop] ---------------
A completely new way to develop CFML applications! Someone said in the
list earlier this week about the "Holy Grail" ... well ... here it is!

We are aiming to release OpenBD 2.0 on the usual 27th April 2011, so now
we can really start testing and shaking out the 1.5 release. (yes 1.5b
will actually become 2.0; we always wanted to reserve the 2.0 tag until
we had GoogleAppEngine and the core engine as one).
