Tony, We actually had this feature implemented in our aw2.0 library, but never exposed it to the CFML function. I have updated the function for this optional flag: http://openbd.org/manual/?/function/amazonsimpledbgetattributes I have also updated our Amazon SQS support, by adding in the ability change the host endpoint: http://openbd.org/manual/?/function/amazonsqssethost This also includes a small fix for sending UTF messages, which most people wouldn't have noticed, but one of our uses did highlight it. So I just included it in this update as well. This is available now on the nightly build Tony M wrote: --Is this functionallity available within OpenBD's Amazon AWS implementation?http://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2010/02/24/amazon-simpledb-introduces-consistent-reads/ It would be really nice to be able to save changes and have them be immediately available just like an RDBMS. SimpleDB saves/reads are 'eventually consistent read optimized' by default. I can't see anything in the documentation / wiki so I was wondering if it's possible. official tag/function reference: http://openbd.org/manual/ mailing list - http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en |
