Of course it is dead ... what is the point in developing for desktop apps when your users can't use your app on tablets and mobiles?

Who is really going to be spending significant amount of flash development now knowing that your app won't have a future on the tablet/mobile space? Intranet applications you could argue, but if that's the case, then there is way better alternatives if you are in a closed-environment.

I am very sad Adobe killed off flash on the mobile; being a tablet user i do not want a two-tier view of the internet -- those days have gone. We demand to see on the move what we see on the desktop.

But Bryan, if you feel that flex/flash still has a future, then do not let me stop you. If you wish to continue with the development effort to integrate it to OpenBD then we will happily accept it. Open Source gives you the power not to accept what we think.
