Well I like Centos Linux 6.0 64bit --> Tomcat 7 + Open BD.

Depending on traffic i either have tomcat listening on port 8080 with an
IPTables preroute for port 80 or front it with a webserver Nginx is nice

I use nightly only if there is something I need otherwise its the release
version.

Don't upgrade for sake of it,
