It could (briefly explain and) prompt you for the location of
your copy (or even your JVM), perhaps take a brief look to see
if it's actually the correct tools.jar, plop it into the
proper lib folder and restart itself.
I've done so many installs that it's almost second-nature to
me now, but I can certainly see how this process could
dissuade a new developer from becoming a loyal OpenBD fan.
